Tanzanian Albino The demand for albino body parts in Tanzania is spreading to neighbouring nations.

In the past two months three albinos have been murdered by criminal gangs in Burundi, which shares a border with Tanzania to the east. The latest victim is a six year old girl called Cizanye, a gang of men armed with rifles stormed the girls home and decapitated her with a machete, they then cut off her arms and legs and fled with the limbs.

Police believe the body parts will be sold to Witch Doctors in Tanzania where they will be made into lucky charms.

Despite efforts being made by the Tanzania Government to crack down on this barbarous crime, the number of gruesomely murdered albinos in Eastern Africa is still rising.

Migrants Turn Cannibal

Five members of a refugee party trying to reach Puerto Rico by boat from the Dominican Republic resorted to cannibalism when they were lost at sea.

33 Dominican Republic migrants set sail for Puerto Rico on October the 17th, after just two days the Captain of the vessel admitted they were lost and abandoned the boat and passengers adrift at sea. The group attempted to sustain themselves on rainwater, but began dying one by one. When only five survivors remained they agreed to start eating the corpses of the other passengers in a desperate bid to survive until they could be rescued.

“We had to eat him, to save our own lives. We cut from his leg and chest. We cut little pieces and swallowed them like pills. It’s like beef, almost the same” one survivor explained.

The five survivors were eventually picked up by the US Coast Guard on the November the 1st, but one woman has since died leaving just four out of 33 to make it.

Pet Snake Kills Owner

Reticulated Python Amanda Ruth Black was discovered dead on Tuesday night, beside an empty snake tank.

Black, from Virginia US, was the owner of a 13 foot long reticulated python which she was attempting to administer medication to. Her body was discovered by her husband, lying in front of the empty snake vivarium, the snake was loose in the same room and was reported to be severely agitated. It took two animal control specialists to capture the reptile and secure it.

A preliminary medical examiners report says that 25 year old Amanda Ruth Black died from suffocation due to neck compression.

The snake is being held at an animal welfare institution while police continue their investigation.

The reticulated python is the longest snake in the world, and can grow up to 32 feet long.

Cannibal Arrested In Uganda

33 year old Sowedi Kimera has been arrested in Uganda on suspicion of cannibalism. Police raided Kimera’s Kireka home on Thursday after being alerted to a corpse on the premises.

Mr Kimera was arrested in the early hours of Thursday morning after residents and Local Council officials tipped the Police of an unidentified body in his house. Police say they searched the house on Wednesday evening and discovered the body of a woman in Kimera’s living room, they traced Kimera to a local bar and arrested him on suspicion of cannibalism. Local residents attempted to lynch Kimera as he was taken into custody.

The dead woman found in Kimera’s home is believed to be Annet Mbabazi, a resident of Kireka. Mr Kimera reportedly checked her body out of the town morgue on Wednesday night, but he gave no explanation as to how or why he took the body. Mr Kimera is no relation to the deceased but says she was his ex-girlfriend.

Teenagers Eaten By Satanists

Some Goths Four teenagers have been ritually murdered and eaten by suspected satanists in a rural Russian village.

The three girls and one boy aged between 16 and 17 were all Goths who were lured to a quiet country cottage in Yaroslavl by alleged satanists and stabbed 666 times in a supposed ritual murder.

The victims were plied with alcohol then brutally stabbed and dismembered. The murderous group then made a bonfire and cooked and ate the victims body parts.

Eight suspects have been arrested by Russian police.

The MySpace Murderess

MySpace Murderess Jodi Ann Arias is standing trial for the first degree murder of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander.

Mr Alexander was discovered with his throat slashed from ear to ear, decomposing in his shower back in June this year. A digital camera found at the scene of the crime has revealed a startling insight into Mr Alexander’s final hours alive.

The camera was found in the washing machine at Mr Alexander’s Arizona home, it was badly water damaged but the memory card was salvaged and deleted photographs on it were restored to reveal important information regarding the gruesome murder.

Pictures on the memory card showed Jodi Ann Arias posing naked and provocatively on Mr Alexander’s bed at around 13:40hrs on the afternoon of June 4th. Later pictures show Mr Alexander naked in the shower at 17:22hrs and at 17:30hrs the photos show Mr Alexander bleeding to death on his bathroom floor.

In the fatal attack Mr Alexander suffered 26 stab wounds, his throat slit and a single gunshot wound to the face. DNA and bloody palm prints also place Miss Arias at the scene of the crime, but she has denied seeing Mr Alexander since April 2008 and is pleading not guilty to the charges against her.

Miss Arias has been described by Mr Alexander’s friends and family as “obsessive”, they were in a relationship for five months in 2007 but remained sexual partners after the relationship ended in June 2007.

Liberian Senator Denies Cannibalism

Prince Johnson, the former Liberian Rebel Leader who tortured and killed dictator Samuel Doe in 1990 and broadcast the event on Liberian television, has denied allegations that he ate Doe’s remains.

Jackson Doe, the brother of Samuel, has made the allegation at Liberia’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Liberia’s president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf is trying to reconcile the two parties after the bloody coup which saw many casualties on both sides.

Johnson who is now a senior senator for Nimba County was leader of the Independent National Patriotic Front of Liberia during the coup in 1990, he personally tortured and killed Samuel Doe by cutting off the former dictators ears, but he strongly denies eating the despot.

“I told Liberians and the international community that when Doe died on the base because of series of injuries he was embalmed for 25 years and buried. But along the way, months or a year two later, there was a dirty propaganda that was propagated from the Amos Sawyer (former interim president) camp that we did not bury Doe, that we ate Doe. And of course we from Nimba are not cannibals,” he said.

To prove that Doe had not been consumed Johnson ordered the 25 year old remains to be exhumed and displayed for independent press media to inspect and verify.

“They brought the body of Doe, and it was as hard as a rock, and international journalists took photographs of Samuel Doe after which it was decided by consensus that Doe should not be reburied in the grave but should be burnt and the ashes be thrown into the river. And that is exactly what we did,” Johnson said.

“Even if I was a cannibal, I did not eat Doe because he was embalmed with chemicals for 25 years. So if they can eat human beings with chemicals, we don’t eat human beings with chemicals,” He added.

Microwaved Baby

China Arnold was convicted today for the murder of her 28 day old baby daughter, the child was burned to death in a microwave oven.

Arnold showed little emotion as the verdict was read, relatives of the murderer began to sob in the court room and walked out.

Prosecutors had told the court how Arnold placed the baby in the microwave following an argument with her boyfriend in 2005, Arnold’s cellmate gave evidence that Arnold confessed to burning the child to death because she was worried her boyfriend would leave her if he discovered the child wasn’t his.

Her defence team argued that Arnold was too drunk on the night of the murder to have carried out the horrendous act, and that a young boy was seen taking the infant into the kitchen and turning the microwave on.

Judge John Kessler declared a mistrial on the 11th of February after he privately heard testimony from the juvenile who was the only witness to the boy taking the baby into the kitchen.

Arnold, from Ohio, may face the death penalty when sentenced. The court will decide on Tuesday whether the death penalty is called for.

MILF Mutilates Seven Year Old

The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) have been condemned today for the brutal attack on a Filipino town where the body of a severely mutilated boy was discovered.

The seven year old boy’s corpse was found by a riverbank, with the stomach hacked open. Town Mayor Bertrand Lumaque described how a group of MILF fighters attacked the town and used over 100 citizens as a human shield as they retreated from government soldiers.

The separatists murdered around 17 civilians as they fled from the town, including the young boy and his father.

“This morning we recovered a body of a seven-year-old. His father was brutally killed yesterday. What they did was inhuman, the boy’s stomach was open,” Lumaque told reporters.

President Arroyo has ordered the police and the military to defend “every inch of Philippine territory” and pursue the MILF groups who carried out the attacks.

Surgery Kills Conjoined Twin

Conjoined Twins A four month old baby has died moments after a marathon operation to separate her from her twin sister.

The twins from Bangladesh underwent complicated surgery by a team of more than 50 doctors and nurses in an effort to give them both normal lives. Barsha and Banya were joined at the chest and stomach, the operation lasted seven hours but Barsha wasn’t strong enough to survive.

“In these cases one of the twins is always stronger than the other and in this case Barsha was not the strong one and has died,” reported paediatric surgeon Shafiqul Haq.

“The condition of the other twin is good. She has a little bit of fever. It is too early to determine whether the surviving twin is risk-free.”

Bangladesh has a bad record for separating conjoined twins, in the past four years there have been three previous attempts to separate conjoined twins and all but one child has died.
