Brown booze manufacturers The Famous Grouse based in Perthshire, Scotland have produced a record breaking giant bottle of Scotch whisky.
Officials from Guinness World of Records were on hand yesterday at the The Famous Grouse Experience at the Glenturret Distillery to confirm the statistics of the massive bottle of hooch. The five foot five inch bottle which was handmade in the Czech Republic holds a remarkable 220 litres of The Famous Grouse blended whisky.
The huge bottle of booze was part of the Famous Grouse’s 107th anniversary celebrations, and will remain at the Glenturret Distillery so whisky fans and world record fans alike can feast their eyes on such a wonder.
Glen Gribbon, director of The Famous Grouse said he was thrilled to bits that the record for the largest bottle of whisky will be held in the home of Scotch whisky now they’ve beaten the previous record set by American whiskey manufacturers Jack Daniels.
