Creepy supernatural drama Grimm has been given the green light for a second season.

The hit TV show was created by Angel writers David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf, and follows the adventures of Detective Nick Burkhardt, a descendant of the Grimm Brothers who inherits the task of fighting supernatural creatures one would usually associate with fairy tales.

Ratings for the show have been somewhat surprisingly good, enough indeed for NBC to confirm the show’s renewal.

I’m just thankful that NBC signed Grimm for a 2nd season. I would also like to see more of Monroe, but they also have to take steps to make Nick a little more intriguing; he’s just boring. I suppose with Julliette saying no to his proposal, then things will get more interesting. Kudos to the writers.
