Jyoti Amge

This week Guinness World of Records proudly crowned Indian short-arse Jyoti Amge the world’s shortest woman.

Little Jyoti just turned 18-years-old this week, and officials from Guinness travelled to the city of Nagpur in India to measure the teenager’s height and confirm her status as the world’s shortest woman. Jyoti’s official recorded height was a tiny 62.8 cm (24.7 in), that’s around 7 cm shorter than previous record holder Bridgette Jordan, from America, and is only 0.4 Kylie Minogues high.

“It is wonderful to celebrate my 18th birthday with a new world record, it’s like an added birthday present” Jyoti said at the ceremony on Friday.

“I feel grateful to be this size, after all if I weren’t small and had not achieved these world records I might never have been able to visit Japan and Europe, and many other wonderful countries.”

The tiny teen has just finished high school and hopes to attend university, but her dream is to become a Bollywood film star.
