Bridgette Jordan

Following the recent publication of the brand new edition of Guinness World Records Bridgette Jordan has been named as the world’s shortest woman.

22-year-old Bridgette measures just 69cm tall, not only is she listed in the book as world’s shortest woman, along with her brother Brad (98cm tall), they’re the world’s shortest siblings! Both brother and sister have Majewski osteodysplastic primordial dwarfism type II, but that doesn’t stop them from having busy lives. Both siblings study at Kaskasia College in central Illinois, Brad is into karate and basketball and Bridgette is a cheerleader.

At 69cm Bridgette simply towers over 60cm tall Junrey Balawing, the world’s shortest man. And she may not be short enough to hold on to her title for much longer, Guinness World of records warn that minuscule Indian teenager Jyoti Amge turns 18 in December, and she’s only 61cm tall. Still too lofty for little Junrey though.

Don’t forget to get a copy of the latest edition of Guinness World Records, it’s top banana:
