Cyclops born in Iraq

A woman in Iraq has given birth to a one-eyed baby with no nose and a deformed ear.

Doctors at the Women and Delivery Hospital in Karbala have reported the strange birth of a baby girl with severe deformities. Dr. Sabah Nour Hadi al-Moussawi confirmed that a 24-year-old woman had given birth to a daughter with only one eye, who was lacking a nose. Moussawi said it’s the first case like it at the hospital, but did add that the mother had previously given birth to a deformed child some years ago, which had died.

The cause of the deformities will be investigated, some Iraqi cities have reported high levels of birth defects in recent years.
