Boobs on BikesThe latest Boobs on Bikes topless parade has been cancelled by its organisers, due to public opinion.

New Zealand pornographer Steve Crow has bowed to public opinion over his decision to hold a topless parade of porn models through the streets of Auckland during the 2011 Rugby World Cup. Crow is no stranger to controversy, every Boobs on Bikes parade he has organised is met with protests and battles to have the procession banned. Not once have the protests been successful, even in the case of the parade Crow has now cancelled, he has never been denied a legal permit to hold the events.

But, according to Crow an online opinion poll showed that the majority of Kiwis didn’t want the boobie-parade to go ahead during a family-centric event such as the Rugby World Cup. Crow posted this statement on his official website:

“For the first time in the history of Boobs on Bikes the tide of public opinion is most definitely against us holding this event at the date and time proposed due to the ‘family nature’ of the big rugby thingy that is happening all over NZ at this time.

A recent online poll shows 68% of people AGAINST us holding Boobs On Bikes at this time.

So, and in keeping with our long-standing belief in democracy…..as much as it pains us to do so, we are cancelling the NZX Rugby D-Cup Boobs On Bikes.

Our apologies for any inconvenience.”
