#25 Hayden Panettiere

Save the little hard-bodied cheerleader.

Hayden has been drooled over by the fanboy fraternity since appearing in NBC’s Heroes in her sexy cheerleader outfit, when she was just about legal. And it clearly wasn’t just the fans, that rum bugger Milo Ventimiglia (who played her super-powered uncle in the show) started dating her, even those he’s almost twice her age the dirty old sod.

Since Heroes ended 21-year-old Hayden has yet to come back with any decent sci-fi parts, but she has scored one killer role as Amanda “Foxy Knoxy” Knox in the film about her murder trial and imprisonment in an Italian gaol.

#24 Freema Agyeman

Another of the Doctor’s assistants in the rankings, fittie Freema crashes in at #24.

Freema, of course, played the very attractive Martha Jones in the third series of Doctor Who. She gets extra kudos for reprising the role several times in later episodes of Doctor Who, and also in its spin-off, Torchwood.

Freema went on to appear in the ill-fated Survivors, but sadly seems to have dropped out of sci-fi telly and is a cast regular in Law & Order: UK.

#23 Malin Akerman

33-year-old Swedish actress, model, and singer. Yummy Malin makes the grade simply for playing latex-clad lovely Silk Spectre II in Zack Snyder’s adaptation of Alan Moore’s Watchmen. Truly legendary and iconic.

#22 Zoe Saldana

Sexy Saldana got some really big scores under her belt. On top of playing a hot Uhura in J.J. Abrams Star Trek, the 33-year-old actress also clocked up two other massive box office hits with Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, and Avatar.

#21 Alaina Huffman

This 31-year-old Canadian hottie has quite an impressive list of roles on her CV.

Going way back Huffman had a guest slot on Tru Calling before becoming a cast regular on comic-book adaptation Painkiller Jane in 2007. For some peculiar reason Huffman’s character was killed off, but Huffman turned up on Smallville playing the Black canary, which sounds rubbish but looks quite hot.

Huffman reprised her role on Smallville several times, and also became a cast regular on Stargate Universe. This year you can look forward to a guest appearance from her on Alphas.
