One of the best things about Game of Thrones is its large cast of characters, so it’s no surprise that the casting news just keeps rolling in.

This week it was announced that Welsh actor Robert Pugh has been added to the cast. Pugh is a veteran British TV actor who became a familiar face playing paramedic Andrew Ponting in the first series of Casualty. More recently he’s had parts in Hustle, Torchwood and Doctor Who. Pugh has been cast as Craster, a wildling who lives north of the wall, but is allied to the Night’s Watch.

Also set to appear in the second season of Game of Thrones is Charlie Chaplin’s granddaughter Oona Chaplin. Chaplin will be playing a character named Jeyne, thought to be a friend of one of the Starks. Previously Chaplin has had a small part in Quantum of Solace and The Devil’s Double, and she will also be appearing in an episode of Sherlock when it returns next year.
