Man sacked for washing his face in urine

A museum attendant in Austria has been fired from his job of 23 years for washing his hands and face in piss.

57-year-old Alfred Zoppelt has worked at the Belvedere in Vienna for 23 years, and has been a keen practitioner of urine therapy for a long time. But only recently did Alfred share his wee-wee antics with his co-workers, and they don’t seem too impressed.

“I showed a colleague a DVD on urine treatment, just as other people show colleagues photos of their cats, or homes” Alfred explained.

But shortly after revealing his passion for pee Alfred was given his notice, which explicitly stated that his urine washing was unacceptable.

“You regularly rub urine into your skin, particularly the face and hands.” Alfred’s dismissal letter read.

“You soil your place of work … and threaten the health of your co-workers.”

Urine therapy is said to be a cure for many ailments, some believe it even beats cancer.
