World body piercing record smashed again

It was only last month when burlesque beauty Staysha Randall was photographed breaking the world record for the most piercings in one session.

The blonde bombshell managed an eye-watering 3,200 needles at the piercing session in June this year. Staysha’s wounds won’t have healed yet, and Guinness World of Records haven’t even confirmed the attempt, and already a new contender has stepped up to the plate.

Tyson Turk, who owns Tyson Turk BodyMod Studio, Irving, Texas contacted us earlier to tell us he pierced volunteer Chris Elliot with 3,900 needles during a seven hour session at his tattoo and piercing studio on Saturday 9th July. Tyson and Chris are the current official world record holders recognised by Guinness World of Records. The pair set the previous record of 3,100 piercings in six hours and 15 minutes on 29th May 2010.

Tyson’s attempt is also as yet unconfirmed by Guinness, but the record breaking feat has been recorded on video and witnessed by a public notary and just needs to be verified by the record book writers. Watch this clip of the last needle being pushed into this poor bugger’s flesh.
