John Barrowman looking gay
While American fans of the show will have to endure a graphic gay sex scene showing homosexual Barrowman enjoying some rumpy-pumpy with a ‘hunky barman’, the BBC in their wisdom have decided this homo-erotica is too much for British sensibilities and have axed the fruity scene.
An insider at the BBC claims that the scene was cut due to it’s explicit content, regardless of it’s gayness.
“It wasn’t that it was a gay scene that worried people, but just the fact it was such an explicit sex scene, full stop.” they said.
“You can get away with scenes like that on American cable channels, but you can’t on primetime BBC One.”
The UK and US versions of Torchwood differ slightly, as well as the cut gay sex scenes British viewers will also be protected from viewing a particularly gruesome scene which the Yanks will get to see. According to the unnamed BBC insider the decision to cut these scenes is based on the young audience which Torchwood has in Britain.

no I really do NOT want to see more sex, less. You don’t have to be homophobic to NOT want to watch it or any sex on tv. Why on earth does “adult content” have to mean sex?
We all know Barrowman is Gay, but do we contantly need to be reminded, it is not necessary.

I haven’t got anything against it,but is it really necessary for a syfi show like that.fair play if Barrowman asked for the scenes/character for gay equality or something.but I’m glad I’ve got sky+.It almost seems like just a gay scene for the sake of it.
