AlsatianA woman in Ireland has died as a direct result of engaging in bestiality.

The unnamed 43-year-old mother of four died from an extreme allergic reaction after sexual intercourse with an Alsatian dog, a seemingly popular breed amongst bestiality aficionados. The dog’s owner, 57-year-old Sean McDonnell appeared in Limerick Crown Court this week charged with buggery contrary to Section 61 of the Offences against the Person Act of 1861, McDonnell is believed to be the first person in Ireland to ever be charged with the offence, and he could face life in gaol if found guilty.

Irish press are reporting that the incident took place in October 2008, the dead woman and McDonnell met on an internet chat room dedicated to bestiality and the dog sex is believed to have been fully consensual.

However after the woman had carnal knowledge of McDonnell’s Alsatian she became seriously ill and was taken to Limerick hospital where she died minutes later from anaphylactic shock, a severe allergic reaction to the dog sex. The dog has been held at a secure facility since the incident.
