Burnley gay-ing up Lancashire

Burnley will be the venue of Lancashire’s first ever Gay Pride festival.

The two day extravaganza of moustachioed muscle men will centre around the Burnley Mechanics theatre on 9th and 10th September. The gay festival is a fund-raiser which will celebrate Burnley’s buzzing homosexual, lesbian, transsexual and transgender community. But you don’t have to be queer to attend, all people are welcome, even the town’s noticeably large Muslim community and the hundreds of right-wing BNP supporters.

Good clean fun is expected over the entire camp weekend, with fruity DJs, comedians and musicians.
