Biggest burger in the worldWhat better to go with the world’s biggest portion of chips (fries), than the world’s biggest burger.

There’s been a surge in culinary world records this week, biggest bag of chips, biggest serving of fish and chips, and now this breathtaking and mouthwatering hamburger. Chefs from Juicy’s cooked the massive beef patty on their tremendous Outlaw Grill, a barbecue grill the size of an articulated lorry!

The record breaking feat took place at the Alameda County Fair in California, where if you weren’t impressed with burgers you can get a nice python meat kebab or a fried scorpion to snack on.

But there was plenty of burger on offer, as the 777lb (353kg) whopper was required by Guinness rules to be eaten once weighed. The finished burger measured over five feet across and three feet high, to produce such a record breaker the beef from an entire cow was required, plus 112lbs (51kg) of salad garnish and a 272lb (124kg), 28-inch thick bread bun.

So the beef burger itself weighed an incredible 693lbs (315kg) which is 103lbs heavier than the previous record holder, before you even add the condiments. It is also the equivalent of mincing up seven and a half entire Kylie Minogues and cooking them on a 27 ton grill.

Guinness World of Records officials were on hand to certify the burger, which smashed the previous record of just 590lbs (268kg).
