Russell Tovey

Being Human star Russell Tovey has landed himself a part in Sherlock, alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman.

Tovey blabbed the good news on Twitter this afternoon.

“Yep! I’m gonna be in BBC’s Sherlock… Official! X” the actor tweeted.

He then went on to confirm which episode he would be appearing in, and in which role.

“Hound of the Baskervilles… And I am playing Henry… Good times”

The second series of Sherlock is currently filming, it may be the last we see of the iconic detective in this guise as the show’s two main stars are of course buggering off to New Zealand to make a film about a Hobbit, with Tovey’s old co-star Aidan Turner.

Tovey will be reprising his role as the werewolf George Sands in Being Human when it returns for a fourth series next year.
