World Toe Wrestling Championships

The World Toe Wrestling Championships were held this weekend at a pub in Derbyshire and the two top toe wrestlers in the world went foot to foot in an epic grudge match.

Paul Beech, who changed his wrestling name from Toeminator to Predatoe this year, was up against his arch rival Alan ‘Nasty’ Nash. Between them the pair of pedi-pugilists have held the title of world champion toe wrestler almost every year since records began in 1994.

Starting in ’94 Alan ‘Nasty’ Nash won the championships at least five times, up until 2003 when Paul Beech arrived on the scene at the Bentley Brook Inn, Ashbourne, and won the contest up until 2009 when Nash regained his crown and held on to it the following year.

But this weekend Beech arrived wearing a Predator mask, using the name Predatoe and managed to steal the title back from his age old adversary.
