Snake rapist given 25 year sentence

24-year-old John Bullock, one of two convicted snake rapists in Wisconsin, has been handed a stiff jail term for his actions.

Bullock, and his accomplice 25-year-old Damonta Jones, were both found guilty last month of sexually assaulting a 32-year-old woman by penetrating her with a live snake. Today a judge at Eau Claire County Court sentenced Bullock to 25 years in pokey, stating that the case was one of the most depraved he had ever heard.

As Bullock was led away he continued to protest his innocence.

“I can’t apologise about a crime I did not commit,” The rapist said.

“My case has been built on a foundation of lies. I am not a man that sexually assaults women.” Bullock protested.

Both Bullock and Jones, who will be sentenced separately, are planning on appealing against their convictions claiming they didn’t receive a fair trial because of media sensationalism.

The pair were found guilty of attacking a defenceless woman at a house party last November. The victim told police she was hit on the head and awoke to find Jones holding her down whilst Bullock raped her. She claimed that later the pair penetrated her with a live snake.
