Angel Earl joins Leverage

LeverageSaving Grace star Leon Rippy is lined up for a recurring role crime caper TV show Leverage.

Rippy is of course much loved for playing the character Earl in Saving Grace, alongside Holly Hunter. But he will be joining Leverage in a recurring role as the nemesis to Timothy Hutton’s character Nate Ford.

Rippy will play Mr. Latimer, a wealthy and nasty investor who discovers what Nate and his band of hi-tech Robin Hoods are up to and goes up against them. Rippy is reported to be signed on for at least five episodes and looks like he’ll replacing Nate’s older nemesis Jim Sterling, who was played by British actor Mark Sheppard.

Leverage season four will premiere in the US in June, British fans can still look forward to season three starting.
