Human TargetFox have managed to annoy a few comic book crossover fans today by announcing the cancellation of one show and the news that one comic book inspired show wouldn’t even be broadcast.

After weeks of rumours Fox finally hit Human Target where it hurts, the show has been axed after its second season failed to ignite its audience or the viewing figures. The comic book inspired show stars Mark Valley, Chi McBride, Jackie Earle Haley and Indira Varma as a team of ‘problem solvers’ who protect clients from deadly threats. Season two is just wrapping up in the states, for good, but it will be getting a UK premiere on Thursday 26th May at 21:00 on Syfy.

Fox continued laying on the downers by announcing that they wouldn’t be picking up the Spielberg produced Locke & Key, which is based on the horror comic book written by Stephen King’s son Joe Hill. There is still a hope that another network might pick the show up, but at the moment things are looking doubtful.
