Primeval return date announced

The return date for dino-drama Primeval has been announced today.

Watch have revealed that the fifth series of Primeval will premiere on Tuesday 24th May, most likely at 19:00.

Primeval was saved from extinction after a deal was reached between ITV and UKTV, who are owned by by the BBC and Virgin. The deal meant that the production would be shared on the next two series, with series four being shown first on ITV 1 then repeated on Watch. Now series five will premiere on Watch and be repeated later on ITV 1.

Watch will begin repeating episodes from season four on Sunday 3rd April at 19:00, series five will then pick up when series four finishes.
