A cyclops baby, with one eye in the centre of it’s face was born in India last week.
Sadly, the one-eyed infant jossed it within 24 hours of being born. The cyclopic baby was unfortunately born with water on the brain, and doctors were unable to drain the brainball quickly enough to save the child.
According to Wikipedia cyclopia of this kind is actually quite common, occurring in as many as 1 in 250 embryos. However most foetuses with this congenital disorder fail to go full term and babies born with the condition are extremely rare.
