First look at the new Wonder Woman costume

OK, the new Wonder Woman rebooted TV show is flying ahead with more casting announcements and now a first glimpse of what Adrianne Palicki is going to look like.

Frankly the shiny tight-fitting colourful latex is quite a surprise. The Wonder Woman reboot is being made by Ally McBeal showrunner David E. Kelley, who says the show will portray Diane Prince as a modern woman “trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life”.

This new costume looks like pretty traditional superhero spandex to us, not the kind of modern take on Wonder Woman we expected. It does tend to push Adrianne’s boobs up under her chin, and I’ve no doubt there will be chase scenes which will make the most of the Underworld-esque “very shiny bottom” effect.

Other Wonder Woman news, if you’re a bit more of a MILF fan than a Cosplay fan, celebrity cleavage Liz Hurley has been cast as Veronica Cale, Wonder Woman’s sexy nemesis. Smashing.

Also cast in the show is Princess Bride star Cary Elwes who will be playing Henry Detmer, the acting CEO of Themyscira Industries, who fancies Diane Prince.
