Man shot through the testicle sack with speargun

An Australian man is recovering in hospital after being shot through the ballbag with a speargun.

The unnamed 38-year-old was involved in a domestic dispute on Friday afternoon outside a house in Bolton Point near Lake Macquarie. During the argument the victim was shot with the speargun, the spear penetrated the man’s left thigh, passed through his genital scrotum and entered the right thigh, pinning his legs and gonads together like an ugly bloody kebab.

The victim also suffered a broken arm as he was beaten with the speargun.

Police later arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with the incident, which is believed to be drug related.
