Saudi farmer bewildered by ‘dwarf’ sheep

A farmer from Saudi Arabia has spent years stressing over a midget sheep which would not grow.

The unnamed farmer wrongly assumed that the diddy-little sheep was a baby lamb and that it would eventually grow to be a full sized animal. But after years of feeding the little fella up, it still remained less than half the size of a regular Ovis aries.

“As days passed, the size of that sheep remained the same…all those days I was perplexed and confused as to why it was not growing until experts told me it is a dwarf sheep,” the confuddled shepherd told the Saudi Sharq newspaper.
