Adrianne Palicki wins Wonder Woman role

Meet the new Wonder Woman.

27-year-old Adrianne Palicki has managed to win the much coveted and iconic role of Wonder Woman/Diana Prince in the highly anticipated forthcoming reboot of the classic TV show.

Palicki won a lot of praise for her part as Cat Thatcher in Lone Star last year, and has also had a recurring role in Friday Night Lights for the past few years. The up and coming actress can also be seen in the remade Red Dawn movie playing the part originally taken by Dirty Dancing/Ferris Bueller star Jennifer Grey.

Ally McBeal creator David E. Kelley is the man behind the new Wonder Woman, who says he has reinvented the iconic comic book character. Palicki will be playing the part of Diane Prince as a successful corporate executive and a modern woman “trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life” as she moonlights as a sexily costumed vigilante on the streets of L.A. At least I hope she will be sexily costumed, they might spoil that yet.
