Another sexy ginge joins Doctor Who

Karen Gillan will be facing competition as Doctor Who‘s sexiest ginge next season when redhead model Lily Cole makes a guest appearance.

22-year-old Cole has been modelling since she was just 14, she branched into acting in 2007 when she won a part in the St Trinian’s movie. The ginger hottie has also appeared alongside Heath Ledger in Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and caused quite a stir in 2008 when she posed nude in the French edition of Playboy.

Ginger Cole will be giving Gillan a run for her money as Doctor Who‘s hottest redhead when she plays a sea monster in the third episode of season six. The press release describes Cole’s part as ‘sea creature’ but I think it’s safe to say the role will be more mermaid than slimy Kraken. The cast and crew are currently filming the episode on a ship in Cornwall where Karen Gillan was photographed dressed as a pirate. Arr!
