John Hughes favourite Anthony Michael Hall will be guest starring as a wheelchair-bound cripple in a forthcoming episode of the hit superhero show No Ordinary Family.
Michael Hall is probably best known and loved for appearing as a sad nerd in not one but three of John Hughes greatest 80s teen movies; The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles and of course Weird Science. Since getting too old to play an über-nerd Michael Hall had his biggest success playing Johnny Smith in six seasons of The Dead Zone alongside Nicole de Boer.
So it’s great to hear that the once king of the nerds will be appearing in a forthcoming episode of No Ordinary Family. Michael Hall will appear in the sixteenth episode, entitled ‘No Ordinary Proposal’ as a wheelchair-bound father who receives an injection of the trilsettum serum which is somehow connected to the families newly acquired superpowers. According to the episode synopsis the results are far from ideal.
