Camp comedian David Walliams has revealed that he will be appearing in a forthcoming episode of Doctor Who.

Walliams spilled the beans during an interview with annoying ginger tosspot Chris Evans on his Radio 2 Breakfast Show yesterday. Knowing Walliams was a Doctor Who fan Evans took the opportunity to ask the actor if he’d like to appear in the show.

“I’ve actually been offered a part in Doctor Who, which I’m very very excited about. I’ve said yes, because I’ve always wanted a part.” The fruity comic explained.

“I don’t think I can reveal much, I can just say I’m an alien. I film it in a few weeks.”

Walliams is probably best known for his appearance as Soft Alan on Shooting Stars and also Little Britain.
