Woman pleads guilty to forcing teenage son to eat his own faeces

An angry woman from Cleveland, Ohio has pleaded guilty to subjecting her 15-year-old son to a barrage of abuse including forcing him to eat excrement and vomit.

37-year-old Talthina Jackson is facing up to 26 years in the big house when she is sentenced next month after pleading guilty to charges of domestic abuse and child endangerment regarding her 14 and 15-year-old sons.

A spokesperson for the county prosecutor gave a statement today saying that Jackson was arrested in August last year after she came home to find her eldest son using her computer. Believing the child was stealing from her she attacked the boy, stabbing him with a set of keys, biting him, choking him and hitting him around the head and face with aerosol cans and an iron. The boy ran to a neighbours house and police were called.

The spokesperson went on to explain that the same boy had multiple scars from beatings he had received and was often kept prisoner by his mother. The boy would be locked in his room for long periods of time and had to urinate out of an open window to relieve himself. On one occasion the boy needed to defecate so he crimped a stool off in the closet, but when his mother smelled the oily loaf she forced the boy to eat it, and provided him with a plastic bag to throw up in.

On another occasion the mother was certain the boy had peed in the house on plastic sheeting laid out during decorating. The boy was forced to lick up the urine, which it turned out actually belonged to the family’s cat. One time the child was also forced to eat a bowl of the pet’s unfinished cat food, when he promptly vomited back into the bowl his mother made him eat that as well.
