Syfy have confirmed that their hit TV show Sanctuary will be back with a fourth season later in the year.
The show is currently on a mid-season hiatus with the remaining ten episodes of season three lined up for a return in April, which is about the same time as filming will begin on a fourth series.
The show has been cut back to a 13 episode series and is slated to hit TV screens as soon as autumn this year.
For those unfamiliar with Sanctuary it stars Amanda Tapping as a 158-year-old English scientist and her organisation made up of ex-police psychologists, serial killers, mercenaries, Sasquatch and werewolf computer experts who hunt down mythical beasts and enormous insects.
