Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)Back in May we told you how Syfy had blagged the rights to cult TV show Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased). Back then it was believed that Josh Bycel and Jonathan Fener were on writing duty, but two new writers have been named today.

Jane Espenson and Drew Z. Greenberg have both been enlisted to write the pilot episode of the show, and these writers have really got quite impressive CVs. Greenberg has written and produced shows of Caprica, Warehouse 13 and Dexter, Jane Espenson has also worked on Caprica and Warehouse 13. She can also boast writing and producing episodes of Dollhouse, Tru Calling, Battlestar Galactica, Angel, Firefly and she is also writing for the brand new series of Torchwood.

The pair of writers have also both worked on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Maybe, just maybe this Americanized remake of the British cult classic might just be worth giving a go.
