Sarah Connor star goes up against Judge Dredd

British actress Lena Headey is set to star as the main villain in the forthcoming Judge Dredd movie.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles star has been lined up to play the role of Madeline Madriga or Ma-Ma, a notorious gang leader. In the leaked Dredd script Ma-Ma is described as a woman in her fifties or sixties with a disfiguring scar. She sounds more like Anne Ramsey than Lena Headey, but never mind.

Headey is due to join the cast and crew who are currently filming in South Africa, how this will effect the production of Safe House is unclear.
