Albino slayings continue in Burundi

Another albino slaying has taken place in Burundi, a 14-year-old boy was dragged from his home and chopped to pieces by machete wielding thugs.

Five men raided the home of a widow on Thursday night and snatched the boy. They murdered him and hacked off his arms and legs which they fled with. Locals reportedly gave chase to the attackers but were unable to catch them.

Authorities believe the men have now fled to Rwanda where the child’s body parts will be sold to witch doctors at a high price. The limbs of albino Africans are used in black magic voodoo potions which are meant to bring luck, wealth and power.
