Exciting news has broken about a rebooting of the sixties gothic comedy The Munsters.
Now, the news that NBC are planning to bring back the cheesy sitcom about a family of monsters isn’t all that exciting, until you add that Heroes and Pushing Daisies screenwriter Bryan Fuller is the man chosen to reboot the franchise.
They had us at Fuller, but it gets even better. According to Entertainment Weekly’s Ausiello Files Hellboy writer and director Guillermo del Toro is also interested in working on the project. Ausillo says on the blog that the concept for the new show has been described to him as “Modern Family meets True Blood”.
Magic.
So the next question is – casting?
