A 73-year-old woman from Poland got the fright of her life this morning when she lifted her potty lid to find a two metre long snake coiled up in her toilet.
The huge serpent had apparently entered the woman’s toilet bowl through the sewage system and was happily chilling out in the crapper. The old dear quickly closed the bog lid and called the police who arrived with a vet to capture the reptile.
Anacondas, which can grow to over five metres long, are usually found in South America and are certainly not native to Poland or any other part of Europe. The snake was transported to Poland’s Wrocław Zoo where it will be cared for.
