The world has a new shortest man

Edward Nino HernandezFollowing the sad passing of He Pingping in March this year the fight has been on to be named as the world’s shortest man.

Khagendra Thapa Magar from Nepal and Lin Yih-Chih of Taiwan both threw their hats into the ring, but today Guinness World of Records confirmed that it is 24-year-old Colombian Edward Nino Hernandez who holds the title of world’s shortest.

Standing at just 70cm, Hernandez is a full 3cm shorter than Pingping was, however his rivals in Taiwan and Nepal are both claiming to be even shorter!
