World record pizza

Chef’s in Poland have created the world’s biggest pizza measuring 1.1km long!

The enormous pizza was made this weekend at Błonia Commons, by chefs from Pizzeria Magillo. The pizza was made using three and a half tonnes of flour, 1,500 litres of tomato sauce and 1,600 kilos of mozzarella cheese. The tasty treat smashed the previous record of a measly 405 metres which the Italians set 2007.

Once the pizza had been officially measured and confirmed by Guinness World of Records it was sliced up and served to thousands of spectators. All proceeds from the record breaking event went to the charity Aktogo, which supports children with brain injuries.
