Some of competitive eating’s top names turned out for the Isle Black Hawk Rocky Mountain Oyster Eating World Championship in Colorado on Saturday. The ‘Rocky Mountain Oysters’ are sliced and deep fried bull’s testicles and Bertoletti managed to consume an enormous 3lbs 11.75oz of the delicacy, setting a new world record and earning him $1,500.
Second place went to Timothy Janus with a very close 3lbs 11.5oz, Bob Shoudt and Juliet Lee were the gurgitators in third and fourth positions each managing over 3lbs themselves.
