Mother bites baby and abandons it at hospital

A 19-year-old Dallas woman has been arrested for biting her 5-week-old son all over his body and dumping him at hospital.

Danielle Patrice Lewis is currently being held in a Dallas jail, charged with injury to a child after her son was found to have a long list of injuries, including bite marks. The police report states that the infant boy was covered in human bite marks on both shoulders, upper back, middle back, left buttocks and left thigh. There were also other suspect bruises on the little boys back, buttocks and genitals.

Lewis took the boy to the Children’s Medical Center in Dallas on 17th August and told medics that she didn’t want her son anymore and left him there. Doctors naturally reported her to the police and Child Protective Services and the little boy has been put in foster care.

Lewis was arrested the following day and during her interview she told cops she bit her son to keep him quiet.
