Man claims to have given birth in Ghana

A fetish priest from Ghana has shocked the nation by announcing that he has magically metamorphosed into a woman and given birth to a baby girl.

Kwabena Benie says he gave birth to the baby on 10th August and his story was corroborated by Maame Ama Nyata who supposedly acted as midwife and delivered the child.

Hundreds of slack-jawed gawkers gathered at a community centre in Sefwi Wiawso District to witness Benie bringing his daughter for a naming ceremony. Benie arrived by taxi wearing a frock and a wig, accompanied by his mother.

Benie later spoke exclusively to the Daily Guide to tell them his story.

The fetish priest told the Daily Guide that when he was just 13-years-old he was possessed by a river god named Apomasu. After he was possessed Apomasu commanded him to become a fetish priest and told him that he could not have sexual relations with any woman as they were now married to each other.

However, Benie explained that despite this at the age of 20 he began sexual relations with a young woman but was troubled by pains in his penis throughout their relationship. Benie even visited hospitals but no doctor could find the cause of his genital problems.

Then one fateful night Benie says he was lying in bed when he felt a tremendous pain across his waist and when he reached down he found his penis had disappeared and was replaced by a vagina.

“When I felt the pain, I tried to touch my penis with my hands but I realized that it had turned into a vagina” Benie told the Daily Guide.

Following his miraculous transformation from a man to a woman Benie soon began a sexual relationship with a man, a student named Kwesi Nkoah who allegedly dumped Benie as soon as he learned he was the father to their unborn child.

Benie told the daily Guide that he went through a normal nine-month pregnancy and gave birth at home. The only difference has been that despite losing his penis and growing a vagina Benie did not grow ladies breasts and so he cannot nurse his new baby like other mothers.
