Albino girl murdered and decapitated in Swaziland

African albinoAn 11-year-old albino girl was shot by a masked gunman as she played with her friends and then beheaded as part of a ritual murder.

The young girl had been washing clothes and bathing in the river with friends when a man wearing a balaclava grabbed hold of her and shot her in the back as her friends looked on. The girl’s headless corpse was later found further up river.

The murder appears to be yet another albino slaying in Africa linked to witchdoctors using the body parts of albinos to make voodoo good luck potions. The albino murders are most prolific in Tanzania and neighbouring Burundi, but this is the second recorded case of an albino murder and mutilation in Swaziland this year.

  2. oh my lord! why doesnt anyone do anything?! it s horrible that this is what it s come to but they need to be protected by the government! why doesnt the government do smth about it cuz it knows they r being targeted for the albinism! same way as little girls r raped to cure aids! who s telling these ppl these things?!

  3. I guess the best protection of albinos would be to spread a rumor that the only cure-all preparation is a soup prepared from a witch doctor.
