‘Sherlock’ gets a second series

SherlockAppearing on BBC Breakfast television this morning Sherlock creator Steven Moffat and his wife, producer Sue Vertue confirmed that the show will be returning for a second season.

Vertue told presenter Sian Williams that the BBC had commissioned the show for another series in 2011.

“There will be more. We’re having a meeting, just to sort of talk about how many and when really. Steven(Moffat) and Mark(Gatiss) are both busy,” Vertue said.

“Obviously Steven is doing Doctor Who as well so it’s just when we are going to do them.” She furthered.
