Alice Eve will play Emma Frost in X-Men First Class

Alice Eve, who has just been cast alongside David Tennant in his new romantic comedy The Decoy Bride will be playing Emma Frost in the forthcoming X-Men prequel.

The 28-year-old British actress came to the attention of American audiences earlier this year playing a blonde hottie in She’s Out of My League. Eve is reported to have missed out on playing Peggy Carter in the new Captain America film, that part went to another British actress, Haley Atwell.

Emma Frost appeared in the last X-Men outing, X-Men Origins: Wolverine but fans were left disappointed with her portrayal by Tahyna Tozzi and are hoping that Eve makes for a much better seductive and manipulative telepathic mutant.

X-Men First Class will be in cinemas in June 2011.
