Imogen Poots lands female lead role in ‘Fright Night’

British actress Imogen Poots has won the part of female lead in the forthcoming Fright Night remake.

21 year old Poots starred in 28 Weeks Later and even had a small part in V for Vendetta, she’ll be joining Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell, Toni Collette, David Tennant and Christopher Mintz-Plasse in an very impressive line-up for the remake of the cheesy 80s vampire flick.

Poots will play Amy, the girlfriend of Yelchin’s lead character who goes up against a vampire which moves next door to him.
