Bloody ChristThousands of worshipers have flocked to a small church in Argentina after word got out that a statue of Jesus was crying tears of blood.

Two men were inside the Sacred Heart of Jesus church in Yerba Buena, Argentina on Friday when they noticed a red substance running down the face of Jesus in a depiction of the Last Supper. The men quickly reported what they had seen to the local priest Father Jorge Gandu and a photograph of the ‘blood’ soaked statue was taken.

Father Jorge explained that the statue appears to be bleeding as if from one of the wounds Jesus received from the crown of thorns he was forced to wear as he was crucified by the Romans. A sample of the substance has been sent off for scientific analysis to determine whether it is actually blood, or just jam or something.

  2. no wonder he’s crying. he’s disgusted with everything. how many people have been victimized or murdered in the name of ‘GOD’. how many times can a certain organized religion disrespect certain groups of people only to turn around 20 years later and change their mind. it’s power and money and it’s man made rules that make up our churches today and it’s disgusting.

  3. I am totally with Vanessa on this. Organised religions (all of them) exist as a tool to control people , wealth, and power.(Not neccessarily in that order!)

Disgusting that the worlds “major” religions all insist that the wealthy help the poor, and yet leave their own followers living in slums wordwide. (Classic example : the catholic church, biggest(richest) land/property owner in the world, leaves its south american “flock” to rot in slums!)
