Summer Glau becomes a Knight of Badassdom

News broke this week of a brand new horror-comedy starring True Blood‘s Ryan Kwanten and dwarf actor Peter Dinklage as live role players who end up fighting real demons.

Knights of Badassdom is to be directed by Joe Lynch who previously directed the straight to DVD Wrong Turn 2: Dead End, but don’t let that put you off. The film is being pitched as Shaun of the Dead meets Role Models where a bunch of nerdy LARPers (live action role players) dress up like Dungeons and Dragons characters and run around the woods pretending to be elves and wizards, but this time they accidentally summon real demons.

The special effects team behind Hellboy and X-Men: Last Stand are handling the creature effects and the cast already looks like a winning combination. Yesterday Bleeding Cool reported that Firefly and Terminator: SCC star Summer Glau will also be LARPing about in the woods, fighting demons alongside Kwanten and Dinklage.
