World's biggest hamburgerA proud restaurant owner in Australia is hoping to get into the Guinness Book of World Records for creating the world’s biggest burger.

Joe El-Ajouz, who runs the Ambrosia On The Spot restaurant in Sydney unveiled his whopper this weekend after spending a complete day creating the monster sandwich. It took Joe and his team 12 whole hours just to cook the enormous patty made from 81kg of beef. Once the cooking was completed the full burger was assembled using 150 slices of cheese, 2kg of lettuce, 2.5kg of tomatoes and 1.5kg of beetroot. The grand total at the final weigh in came to a gargantuan 90kg, which beats the previous record set in Michigan by 6kg.

Who the hell has beetroot on a burger? That’s crazy!
