Urine bottleA new craze on Chinese online shops is the sale of urine as a cure for cancer.

The bottles of urine, which sell at anywhere between £2 to £200 are touted by sellers on the internet with promises that the piss will cure a huge range of ailments from kidney problems to cancer. Apparently the secret to a good wee-wee tonic is it’s purity, some sellers boast that their supply of pee only comes from boys aged five years or younger who live in pollution free rural areas and are breastfed by their mothers.

Dong Jianyong, owns of an online shop named ‘dy99hyn’ on the Taoboa shopping network, he sells 30ml bottles of urine for £200 a pop. But 30ml will go a long way, Dong says that just a couple of drops of piss into a bowl of soup or a cup of tea is all that’s needed to treat anything from headaches to leukaemia.
