Vicious Bully Attacks Midget Michael Jackson Impersonator In The Street

A brutal thug who attacked a dwarf Michael Jackson impersonator has escaped jail in Gateshead this week.

29 year old Amanda Williams, a former heroin addict and all round bad egg pounced on Jackson impersonator Kelly Pitt from behind in an unprovoked attack. Pitt, who suffers from dwarfism and uses the stage name “Minnie Michael” when she performs in pubs and clubs in the Gateshead area was wearing her stage outfit when Williams decided to rough her up last November.

Appearing at Newcastle Crown Court yesterday Williams was found guilty of the assault, which left the diminutive Jackson impersonator with several broken ribs. The prosecution told the court how Williams, who has a string of previous convictions attacked Pitt from behind throwing her to the ground and viciously kicking her around the head and body.

Witnesses to the attack dragged Williams off her victim and called an ambulance and the police. Judge Tony Lancaster described Williams as “little better than a bully” but only gave her a 26 week suspended prison sentence.

Speaking outside the court Pitt said she was “gutted” at such a lenient sentence.

“I’m only the size of a 13 year old, what if it had been a kid? She wouldn’t have known if it was or not. It is absolutely unspeakable what she did.”

“There was no reason for her to attack me, maybe she was jealous because everyone was asking me to dance or because I’m small so she thought I was an easy target. Whatever the reason it is absolutely sick. I am gutted that she got such a lenient sentence. I was hoping she would get a hefty sentence to teach her a lesson.”

Williams was also given a 12 month community order with supervision and is required to live and sleep at a hostel in Newcastle.
